![]() So, another 1st of the month on a Tuesday. Argh! That means TWO projects today again! At least it won't happen again til November, lol. For my first project, I am combining our awesome tic-tac-toe at Retro Rubber #177, with this cozy inspiration pic for SU Only #296! Wee! After some lengthy searching, the only retired image I could come up with for our pic at SUO was 2005's Please Be Seated - check out this cozy sofa! I eventually settled on the left-hand column of the tic-tac-toe as well - some pretty pink animal print DSP (also inspired by the pic, lol) some silver, and birthday! I finally found a quirky enough font to go with the sofa, even! And that's what I want to hear on MY birthdays, lol, "So far, so good!" Too funny! I can't wait to see YOUR takes on our challenges! Please Be Seated (retired 2005) & Ride With Me (retired 2020) Stamp Sets; Pattern Party DSP; Basic White, Shaded Spruce & Silver Foil CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Shaded Spruce & Soft Suede Blends Markers; Subtle Shimmer Sequins; #RRCB177; #SUOC296. ![]() And for this month at Sparkles #134, we have the BEST theme - "Santa Claus is comin' to town!" I couldn't resist going back to my 2018 SO Santa set - check out Santa's Jams! It seemed a natural to complete his beach setting with our gorgeous Paradise Palms set - and look, he's even getting a little sunburned, lol... Come show us your Santa this month - meet you there! So Santa (retired 2018) & Paradise Palms Stamp Sets; Real Red, Crumb Cake & Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Old Olive & Mango Melody Inks; SU1000, Real Red, Old Olive, Pool Party, Mango Melody & Soft Suede Blends Markers; #SCC134.

![]() Yay! Less is More #457 is finally back from their well-deserved break, with a birthday challenge to celebrate their anniversary! Woo hoo! I couldn't resist going back to Mischievous Mice for another birthday card - this time with that big wedge of yummy cheese involved! While I NEVER want to see these whiskers peeking out of my OWN cheese, I really can't resist the uber-cuteness of this image on paper, lol. I kept it all very simple, and colored away with my Blends Markers! I think it's lunchtime now, here... Say cheese! Mischievous Mice Stamp Set; Basic White & Mango Melody CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake, Petal Pink & Mango Melody Blends Markers; #LIM457. ![]() I'm back again at The Flower Challenge #65, who'd like us to make something for an "occasion!" This was the perfect chance for me to finally ink up my newly arrived set, Wildflower Path! I'm not sure what's going on with me, but a number of flower sets caught my eye in the Spring Mini this year, and {GASP} I've actually been getting them, lol. This was one, that I feel like isn't shown to the most advantage in the catty - it's SO versatile and forgiving! I put together a simple little corner arrangement, heat embossed my sentiment, and finished with a ribbon and tiny pearls - so quick, and SO fresh! Love it! Wildflower Path Stamp Set; Basic White & Blackberry Bliss CS; Old Olive & Blackberry Bliss Inks; Striped Ribbon in Blackberry Bliss; Share What You Love Pearls (retired); #TFC65. ![]() Check out this fun sketch we have at this week's Retro Rubber #176! I think I can add in our heat emboss challenge from SU Only #295, too! It took me a while to settle on a stamp set for this one, lol. Then I spotted Bubble Over - remember those fun bottles?? I even pulled out an old Chocolate Chip Craft Pad I could heat emboss them with - makes them look like glass in person, I think! I made up some simple bottle labels with our Sunshine & Rainbows DSP, and added a touch of sparkle and bubble with our Epoxy Essentials. Now I'm thirsty! I can't wait to see YOUR projects for our challenges this week - meet you there! Bubble Over Stamp Set (retired 2019); Sunshine & Rainbows DSP; Basic White, Silver Foil & Pool Party CS; Chocolate Chip Craft (retired) & Early Espresso Inks; Bottles & Bubbles Dies (retired); Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials; #RRCB176; SUOC295. ![]() This should be fun - Cardz 4 Guyz #288 wants us to feature something that starts with a "P!" A quick browse landed me right on Paradise Palms - great for a guy, and perfect for a "p," lol. I admit, I'm starting to have Maui on the brain again as we get closer to our annual anniversary trip, lol. Can't wait to see (and hear!) these beauties in person! I added some coconuts to one of my trees today, and at the last second decided to heat emboss my sentiment in White onto Early Espresso, in keeping with my brown details. I really don't heat emboss enough! Paradise Palms Stamp Set; In Good Taste DSP; Basic White & Early Espresso CS; Versamark, Soft Suede, Early Espresso & Garden Green Inks; White EP; Palms & Ornate Frames Dies; #C4G288. ![]() Oo, we have some cool and pretty colors to play at this week's Cupcake Inspiration #536! I have to admit, I was pretty stumped for this one. So I started shuffling through the stack of not-yet-ink-christened sets on my desk. And I hit on Bragworthy, a sentiment set filled with smarty pants thoughts, lol. And there was this one about towels... That was it - wheels spinning! How about I make TOWELS out of these colors to go with this sentiment?? I giggled the whole time I was making this! Naturally, I used the Tasteful Textile EF to get started, then crumpled everything up and smoothed it back out a bit. Then I decided I liked the colors set off a little with a Crumb Cake background, so the sentiment had to be in Early Espresso. And I happened to have pearls in the right colors, too. It's all good - and I think I need new towels - weeee! Bragworthy Stamp Set; Basic White, Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride & Mint Macaron CS; Early Espresso Ink; Tasteful Textile EF; Share What You Love Artisan Pearls (retired); #CI536. ![]() Look at that, I get a chance to play at another new-to-me challenge today! Shopping Our Stash #462 would like us to "cross the border," and use our border punches or dies! I started out a little backwards today, lol. With this theme, I went for the dies FIRST, because I don't actually use them them very often! I love this stitched cloud border the most - what do I have that flies to go with it? Why, a mouse and a balloon, of course, lol. This little guy from Mischievous Mice, our Spring Mini hostess set, is just the thing? He's flying up, up and away - yay! I pieced in a bright Mango Melody balloon, too, to brighten up that cloudy sky! Mischievous Mice Stamp Set; Basic White, Pool Party & Mango Melody CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Gray Granite & Petal Pink Blends Markers; Basic Borders Dies; Sponge Dauber; Classic Matte Dots; #SOS462. ![]() Valentine's Bonus Class Jan 29! Cardz 4 Guyz #287 is finally back from holiday, and they are kicking off with a "spots or stripes" challenge! It just so happened that I had my Pansy Petals DSP out on my desk, and right on top were some scraps of this gorgeous stripey sheet in greens - yes! What could go with that? I quickly settled on Nuts About Squirrels, and stamped the one perched on a branch so I could pull in some of the green with leaves into the image - so cute! I love the expression on this cutie - he must be Miss Suzy's nephew, lol. Nuts About Squirrels Stamp Set; Pansy Petals DSP; Basic White, Early Espresso & Soft Succulent CS; Early Espresso Evening Evergreen & Cajun Craze Inks; Stitched Shapes Dies; Brushed Metallic Dots; #C4G287. ![]() Wow, Festive Friday #100 is celebrating a BIG milestone, the inspo list shows it! Can't wait to pick some goodies and start creating! It was tough to make choices from this fun list - so many things appealed to me! In the end, I cobbled together some ideas for celebration, cake, gold, sequins, patterned papers, and kind of spatter, from the DSP I chose! So fun! The only sweet treats I'm having these days after all the holidays partying is the ones in my stamp room, lol, and 2020's Happy Birthday to You still has my favorite cake of all time! I paired it with this gorgeous paper from Expressions in Ink, which I so haven't used enough, a fancy gold foil cake stand and a few sequins to match. Such a yummy cake - but I must be strong! Lol. Happy Birthday to You Stamp Set (retired 2020); Expressions in Ink DSP; Basic White & Gold Foil CS; Memento Tuxedo Ink; Crumb Cake, So Saffron & Old Olive Blends Markers; Birthday & Ornate Frames Dies; Magenta Madness Cotton Ribbon; Gold Sequins; #FF0100. ![]() Birthday Cards 2022 Class Jan 15! For their "celebration" challenge, I couldn't help but bring in a little sneaky peek at an upcoming Sale-A-Bration set - Catching Butterflies! I've not gotten one of the sets that has these cute little kids in it before - it's a fun style! For some reason, this pretty girl with her butterfly net caught me, though, and I decided she would look even cuter over some of our SAB paper in the Sunshine & Rainbows pack. I think polka dots are so happy! Just right for our girl here! I put a birthday sentiment inside for our celebration! Catching Butterflies Stamp Set; Sunshine & Rainbows DSP; Basic White & Magenta Madness CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Pale Papaya, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Mango Melody & Pumpkin Pie Blends Markers; Tasteful Labels Dies; Sequins; #GDC323. ![]() Pumpkin Club January 1!
