![]() Now here's a party - AAA Birthday #55 would like us to use a LARGE sentiment this month! I still have a little collection of older stamps that I'm babysitting before they move on to new homes - in them is 2014's You're Wonderful set - perfect! The set features this big beautiful "wonderful" with some banners, and you can mix and match the sentiments to add in! I went straight for this birthday combo, and I love it! I'm not sure I ever got this one, I think it's one of SU!'s early photopolymers, but it's sure sweet! It looks even sweeter over this gorgeous sheet of DSP from the Masterfully Made pack! You're Wonderful Stamp Set (retired 2014); Masterfully Made DSP; Basic White & Fresh Freesia CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Fresh Freesia & Lemon Lime Twist Blends Markers; Fresh Freesia Tinsel Gems; #AAAB55.

![]() I'm super excited to show off some new goodies at this month's NBUS #56! I number one new stamp set I couldn't WAIT to get my hands on in this latest Online Exclusive release was the Simply Sparkling bundle - it's fabulous! Who knew there were so many adorable ways to dress up a soda can?? Besides the sweet sentiments, and fruity details, the dies are thoughtfully designed to allow you to cut metallic details for the can top and bottom - nifty! I kicked off with this refreshing orange soda - I stamped my can over the bubbly sheet from the Stargazing DSP pack, and added a "fizz-tastic" label and silver details. I even did some big bubbles in the background! Zesty! Simply Sparkling Stamp Set; Stargazing DSP; Basic White, Silver Foil, Pumpkin Pie & Mango Melody (retired) CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Pumpkin Pie Inks; Simply Sparkling & Radiating Stitches Dies; Milky Dots in Mango Melody (retired); #NBUS56. ![]() Did you get your November Pumpkin kit yet? I pretty much ran straight for my retired pack of Fine Art Floral DSP - I remembered that there was a sheet with a gray background and flowers mixed in with all the other gorgeous florals in this one - perfect for that bag! I did the gray background strip at the bottom to echo that bag, and added the lovely die cut sentiment in Pretty Peacock. I had just enough room for the bloom at the bottom with the birthday wish! I finished with a few Gilded Gems for some extra shine! Art Gallery Stamp Set (retired 2023); Fine Art Floral DSP (retired); Basic White & Pretty Peacock CS; Poppy Parade, Merry Merlot (retired), Pretty Peacock & Memento Tuxedo Black Inks; Floral Gallery Dies (retired); Gilded Gems; #TOC251. ![]() 2023 Holiday Gift & Packaging Class Nov 18! Some time ago, I was fascinated by some work I saw, where the stamper dry embossed some pieces, and then heat embossed over it - it looked really cool, and I wanted to try it, so I experimented some gold emboss over a Night of Navy panel in Absolutely Argyle. I did love the effect, like a patina! I didn't have a plan for it, and stashed it in my Navy scrap folder in case something came up. Well, today was that day, lol! I decided to pair the panel with Distressed Gold and the He's All That bundle, which has those cool little argyle dies! I floated this classic birthday sentiment over it all and finished with a few Navy Enamel Dot Essentials. I think it came out pretty spiffy, and masculine, too! Not bad for a stash find! He's All That Stamp Set; Basic White, Distressed Gold & Night of Navy CS; Night of Navy & Versamark Ink; Gold EP; Absolutely Argyle EF (retired); All That Dies; Enamel Dot Essentials; #SOS509. ![]() Seasonal Sale Nov 14-16, 2023 Hi, stampers! Farm Quest #39 is having a "corn" challenge, lol - awesome! Off the top of my head, the only corn I could think of that I have is from the awesome Chick Dies, that are now retired. I decided to combine them with my Hay Chuck set - chickens really like to hang out together, right? I pulled some also-retired Day At The Farm DSP for my background paper, and set about building my corny scene, lol. I did a little fence line to tuck the corn behind, and built a few stalks for my favorite Chuck to do his special dance in front of! I always think the birthday sentiments are perfect for this one! What a fun challenge! Hey Chuck Stamp Set; Day At The Farm DSP (retired); Basic White, Garden Green, Daffodil Delight & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler & Daffodil Delight Blends Markers; Hey Chuck, Chick (retired) & Deckled Circles Dies; #FQCB39. ![]() Such stunning colors we have for you this round at Sunday Stamps #321 - and pretty bittersweet in a jar! I finally am dabbling in the pretty Season of Chic set - I almost let this beauty get away! The gorgeous two-step stamping I could do on these laves seemed just right for our colors this round, and so many fun design elements in the dies! I resurrected some Pretty Peacock DSP for my background, and coordinated with Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie for my colors - and I am loving this combo! I even pulled out a few Seaside Spray Faceted Dots to finish - from Pretty Peacock's original In Color release! I'm NOT a hoarder, I swear! I can't wait to see YOUR lovely projects with our warm colors this round - meet you at the challenge! Season of Chic Stamp Set; Pretty Peacock DSP; Basic White & Cajun Craze CS; Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze & Pumpkin Pie Inks; Chic & Autumn Leaves Dies; Cajun Craze Linen Thread; Seaside Spray Faceted Dots (retired); #SSC321. ![]() We want to have a laugh this round at Make My Monday #212 - show us your punny funny sentiments! Today I went for 2020's Witty-cisms set to help me out, lol. I originally got this set for the cactus image (lookin' sharp!) but I think I have never used this chinchilla one! This was fun! I did a trio of Stylish circles using papers from the still-awesome Celebrate Everything pack - I was hoping this could pass for a guy card - I stamped the Happy Birthday on the inside! I love the look of these colors together! I can't wait to see YOUR punny cards this round - meet you at the challenge! Witty-cisms Stamp Set (retired 2020); Celebrate Everything DSP (retired); Basic White & Early Espresso CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Crumb Cake Blends Markers; Stylish Shapes Dies; White Matte Dots; #MMM212. ![]() Pumpkin Club October 28! The Flower Challenge #85 has an "anything goes" challenge this round, BUT, it's their birthday! I think I know what I'll be doing, lol... I wanted bright and exuberant blooms for this one, so I went back to my In Bloom bundle, that retire in 2022. I just love these dies! So many combos we can do with them - I chose three main colors for the flowers, Daffodil Delight for the centers, and just went to town, lol. When I was done arranging everything, I tucked in some fun stitched leaves, too! This happy card is sure to bring a smile to someone! Love these colors! I was coming up crickets with what images to do with these colors, lol, so then I started wondering if I had any fun DSP in them - this is what I came up with! I have been loving the Masterfully Made pack as a source of quite a few oddball colors that I don't have anywhere else! And I finally cut into my last sheet of this retired Cherry Cobbler plaid today, too. They look so good together over the Timber-embossed Crumb Cake! I went with this belated birthday sentiment from Something Fancy, and finished with a few Crumb Cake Enamel Dots. I think this makes a great masculine card - yay! Something Fancy Stamp Set; Cherry Cobbler (retired) & Masterfully Made DSP; Basic White, Cherry Cobbler & Crumb Cake CS; Pretty Peacock Ink; Timber EF; Something Fancy Dies; Crumb Cake Enamel Dots; #IMC516. ![]() This will be fun - AAA Birthday #54 wants us to use our favorite colors this round! I really wanted to play with some critters today, and I wasn't sure I could find anything I could use for my favorite colors - green and purple - if I did, lol. A really crazy chicken? Then I spotted the bike-riding gator in Zany Zoo, and knew it was all good, lol. I also realized I could finally safely use one of the black and white patterns on the BACK of all the cute critter sheets in the DSP pack - I don't actually have any ballerinas in my life, lol. So I cut a strip of this sheet and used a blender brush to add Berry Burst for my purple. I colored my gator with BOTH lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green, and added a few Berry Burst details to the bike. At the last second I embossed the white panel with the retired Dot To Dot EF - looks like gator skin to me! I'm so happy with how cute this came out! Zany Zoo Stamp Set; Zoo Crew DSP; Basic White & Basic Black CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Berry Burst Inks; Granny apple Green, Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Crumb Cake, Basic Black & Daffodil Delight Blends Markers; Zany Zoo Dies; Dot To Dot EF (retired); Berry Burst Tinsel Gems; #AAAB54. |
