Lovely - Festive Friday #146 has a wonderful inspo list for us for Remembrance/Veteran's Day! I decided to go for a sympathy card in the end - mostly so I could use a current set, lol, and I love the sympathy sentiment in Heartfelt Hexagon so much! Just so pretty, and I like being able to add the elegant finials as well. I originally pulled my retired pack of Peaceful Poppies DSP, too, so I decided to stick with that - such gorgeous poppy sheets! I did a full card front and floated my dressed up hexagon over that with some Black grosgrain ribbon and Matte Black Dots. Easy design, with a nice splash of color! From the list, I think I covered red, black, punches, poppy and sympathy - pretty good! Heartfelt Hexagon Stamp Set; Peaceful Poppies DSP (retired); Basic White, Basic Black & Poppy Parade CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Heartfelt Hexagon Punch; Black Grosgrain Ribbon; Matte Black Dots; #FF0146.

I am LOVING the inspiration quote at this round's Time Out Challenge #250! It says it all! Since the quote talks about waves, I decided to pull in Waves of Inspiration - I have rarely used this gorgeous set - crazy! Even though it has some wonderful dies, I opted for using the beautiful wave image stamp - I colored it up in three different blues, and layered it over some Coastal Cabana. I also couldn't resist pulling in some of the Waves of the Ocean DSP that was released with the original pre-order of the set - love these paper sheets still! For my sentiment I pulled in this beauty from Something Fancy - I feel like that's what gratitude really is - everyday magic! Waves of Inspiration & Something Fancy Stamp Sets; Waves of the Ocean DSP; Basic White & Coastal Cabana CS; Coastal Cabana, Pacific Point (retired) & Night of Navy Inks; Deckled Rectangles Dies; Rhinestones Waves Basic Jewels; #TOC250. Eee! We have a fun "holiday" recipe for you this round at As You See It #311! Let's cook! I'm so excited to finally break in my new Celebrate The Miracle stamp set - the first new Hanukkah set we've had in YEARS! So many fun elements in this one - both classic and playful! Yay! I paired it up with this pretty sheet from the O Holy Night pack, and taking a cue from my brilliant teamies, embossed a strip of vellum to float behind my feature panel! I had to start with this gorgeous menorah, with separate stamps for candles and flames - over this lovely font for my sentiment! At the last second, I couldn't resist sneaking on a couple dreidels, lol, they're just so cute! A bit of coiled silver twine finishes my recipe! I can't wait to see YOUR lovely creations with our recipe - meet you at the challenge! Celebrate The Miracle Stamp Set; O Holy Night DSP; Basic White & Night of Navy CS; Versamark, Night of Navy & Crushed Curry Inks; Silver EP; Deckled Rectangle Dies; Wintry EF (retired); Silver Cording Trim; #AYSI311. Oo, something new (for me, at least, lol) this round at Shopping Our Stash #508 - a color challenge! I started by picking three colors - and I went with Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie & Misty Moonlight - what could I stamp with these? After a quick browse, I landed on Bird's Eye View - these guys are so funny! Since there are no sentiments, I Pulled Happy Labels to go with it, and got to work! I found a couple sheets of our first-run DSP stack in Misty Moonlight, and decided this text sheet would be perfect with the stack of books! I chose a studious birdie to perch on top and added some glasses to really complete the look, lol. Since we don't have Blends Markers in Garden Green (!!!) I opted for my water painters, too - I love the look! I floated all my stamping over this fun shape from Nested Essentials, and finished with a few Misty Moonlight Glossy Dots! Yay! I think this would make a great school congrats card, and I love using my old stash Misty Moonlight stuff! Bird's Eye View & Happy Labels Stamp Sets; Misty Moonlight DSP; Basic White CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie & Misty Moonlight Inks; Water Painters; Nested Essentials Dies; Misty Moonlight Glossy Dots; #SOS508. Such a fun theme - we want to see your Christmas stockings this month at Sparkles Christmas Challenge #154! I knew I wanted to go back to our darling Sweet Little Stockings suite from 2021 for this one - the critters in stockings are just so cute! I even still have some DSP! I started by setting up my basic background with the DSP, of course, lol, and then strung on some Baker's Twine to hang my stockings from! The twine ended up being barely visible, lol, because I decided to do ALL the critters this time, and I set them up in cute stockings cut from the DSP as well - I'd love to have stockings like this! I finished with my favorite sentiment from this set, and a few rhinestones! I can't wait to see YOUR stocking projects, hung with care! Meet you at the challenge! Sweet Little Stockings Stamp Set ( retired 2021); Sweet Stockings DSP (retired); Basic White & Cherry Cobbler CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Cherry Cobbler Inks; Crumb Cake, Smoky Slate & SU200 Blends Markers; Stockings & Tasteful Labels Dies (both retired); White Baker's Twine; Rhinestone Basic Jewels; #SCC154. We have the perfect Halloween inspiration for you at Hand Stamped Sentiments #426! I couldn't resist all these awesome pumpkins in our inspiration collage - and I had just the thing! I've been looking for a chance to use the super cute pumpkin stamps in our September 2023 Paper Pumpkin - With Love & Gratitude! I love being able to stamp that stem separately, so I can make my gourds whatever colors I want! I floated these 6 over a pretty woodgrain from our awesome All About Autumn DSP pack, and I think they look great! I can't wait to see what YOU create from our lovely inspiration - meet you at the challenge! With Love & Gratitude Paper Pumpkin Stamp Set (Sep 2023); All About Autumn DSP; Basic White & Copper Clay CS; Copper Clay, Crushed Curry, Moody Mauve, Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Pumpkin Pie & Early Espresso Inks; Gold Sequins; #HSS426. Oh, this is a good one! The Male Room #179 want to see a "get well soon" card! I did a quick check for get well sentiments in my current sets, and to my delight, there's one in Warmest Heart! I am still smitten with these cute thermoses, and I decided to branch out into more of the cool dies that come with them this time, too - my featured thermos is ALL dies - check out that carry loop! So cute, lol. Anyway, I started with a Pretty Peacock base, and did up a trio of manly thermoses, complete with screw off sipping cup, in fun coordinating colors. I added my get well tag above it all, and at the last second stuck on some tiny white Resin Hearts. Picture these all filled with chicken noodle soup! Warmest Heart Stamp Set; Pretty Peacock DSP; Basic White, Pretty Peacock, Galvanized Metal, Smoky Slate, Granny Apple Green & Crumb Cake CS; Memento Tuxedo Black, Smoky Slate & Granny Apple Green Inks; Blender Pen; Daffodil Delight & Pool Party Blends Markers; Warmest Hearts Dies; White Resin Hearts (retired); #TMR179. Such stunning colors we have for you this round at Sunday Stamps #321 - and pretty bittersweet in a jar! I finally am dabbling in the pretty Season of Chic set - I almost let this beauty get away! The gorgeous two-step stamping I could do on these laves seemed just right for our colors this round, and so many fun design elements in the dies! I resurrected some Pretty Peacock DSP for my background, and coordinated with Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie for my colors - and I am loving this combo! I even pulled out a few Seaside Spray Faceted Dots to finish - from Pretty Peacock's original In Color release! I'm NOT a hoarder, I swear! I can't wait to see YOUR lovely projects with our warm colors this round - meet you at the challenge! Season of Chic Stamp Set; Pretty Peacock DSP; Basic White & Cajun Craze CS; Pretty Peacock, Cajun Craze & Pumpkin Pie Inks; Chic & Autumn Leaves Dies; Cajun Craze Linen Thread; Seaside Spray Faceted Dots (retired); #SSC321. I have a nice collection of new goodies to try for this month's NBUS #55! Yay! I started with one of my pre-order sets for the next Online Exclusives release - available November 7! This adorable little beaver is part of the Fluffiest Friends set - a collection of chonky little critters bundled with wonderful dies! I broke my personal shopping rule with this one - since it has no sentiments (GASP!) I paired it with our playful Happy Labels set - a match made in Heaven! I don't feel too bad about the rule for these guys - it's CRITTERS, and I love them all! I've also slipped in some preview DSP, Bee Mine, part of the Bee My Valentine suite we get to pre-order for our On Stage event in November! You're going to love the honey-sweet patterns in this pack! Fluffiest Friends & Happy Labels Stamp Sets; Bee Mine DSP; Basic White & Sweet Sorbet CS; Memento Tuxedo Black & Sweet Sorbet Inks; Crumb Cake, Pebbled Path & Sweet Sorbet Blends Markers; Fluffiest Friends, Tailor Made Tags & Stitched Be Mine (retired) Dies; Bordered Ribbon in Sweet Sorbet; White Resin Hearts; #NBUS55. Goodness, check out these little monster cupcakes at this round's Cupcake Inspirations #580! I think I can JUST squeak in! Today I went for a scary cup of coffee, lol - I have always LOVED this sentiment in the Merry Cafe set from 2017! I combined it with my newly acquired stash of Frightful Sight DSP - don't you wish you could get cups like these out and about?? Lol. I also stuck on this little "Happy Haunting" flag using the still-awesome Banner Year set from last year - very good Halloween advice, lol. Merry Cafe (retired 2017) & Banner Year (retired 2022) Stamp Sets; Frightful Sight DSP (retired); Basic White, Basic Gray & Cajun Craze CS; Memento Tuxedo Black Ink; Coffee Cups & Tasteful Labels Dies (both retired); Black & Silver Baker's Twine; #CIC580.
