Oh gosh - I almost don't even LIKE it when Stampin' Up! offers so many promotions at once - I'm always paranoid that I'll forget to tell you about one you really wanted! Argh! So, sorry for the commercial nature of this post, but I'm out to get it over with all at once!
First up - 10 new single stamps are now available on a first come-first served basis til January 2 - you can click on the pics below to get to the full flyer, and buy them at my online SU! store, also found over on the right hand column of my blog home-page. Look under the Products tab, then Shop Now. You may as well check out the Clearance Rack while you're in there, too! Next up is the Sell-A-Stamp Spooktacular! On Monday Oct 29, starting at 12:00 AM (MT) and ending at 11:50 PM (MT), almost every stamp we sell will be 15 percent off. ONE DAY ONLY! This means all stamps in the current catalogs including background stamps, personalized name stamps, Cookie Press stamps, single stamps, you name it. Stamps on sale! Woot Woot! This sale does NOT include hostess sets, bundled stamp sets or digital brush sets. There is NO minimum purchase, and no limit to the number of stamps you can order. Discount is applied to your shopping cart, and, while I should be around most of Monday (and will be standing by!), keep in mind that your best bet to make sure to get what you want is to shop in the online store mentioned above for fastest service! Also available on October 29, the first winning new project kit, designed by an amazing demonstrator or fellow customer with YOU in mind - a little something new from SU! to us. This will be the first in a new series of kits offered throughout the year for us to check out - it'll be as much a surprise for me as you, too! Check it out while you're in there getting Spooktacular Stamps (and Clearance Rack items!) And finally, Digital Scrapbooking Day is almost upon us! To help celebrate, Stampin' Up! is offering free downloads and reduced kits for the week of Oct 29 thru Nov 5. See info on the promotions for My Digital Studio here, and MDS2 here.

![]() I can not TELL you how relieved I am that the Jar Class is finally here! It has taken everything I have to keep pacing myself, and even so, I have like 6 more projects we COULD do - I had to settle for these three! First up is a gorgeous (if I do say so myself) fall luminary antique jar, with ribbons and leaves galore! Next is a modern "wide-mouth" jar (I'm going to start using that phrase more, I swear) filled with 2 each of 5 different tags, JUST for using on "jarred" gifts. Well, ok, you could use them on other gifts, too, but I'm telling you, this project and a case of jam jars could really set you up! And then, if you're not too tuckered, a simple card featuring a sweet blossom in a jar vase - quick and charming! (And oh-my-stars I can't wait for you to see your treats! EEEeeeEEEeee!) ![]() So, class is one week away, Thursday, October 25, 6:30 pm at my house. Make sure to RSVP, so I can keep the "jar count" going! Bring your favorite paper snips and basic adhesive, I should have everything else you'll need, and will have yummy snacks, too! See you soon! ![]() Well, I was going for a few things on this one, made for Freshly Made Sketch #55, and I think I might have done a tiny bit too much! Objective 1: Use up as much retired DSP as possible. OK, but we're looking kind of busy here, even though purple and green were made to go together! Objective 2: Add to the birthday card box, stocks are running low. Check! Objective 3: Use the I Am... stamp set as much as possible before I have to give it back! Double check! With all this achieved, I also threw in conquering my fear of square cards. Almost there! I Am... & Happiest Birthday Wishes (retired) stamp sets; Pink Pirouette, Whisper White & Elegant Eggplant (I'm out of Concord Crush, finally) CS; Cheerful Treat (retired) DSP; Labels Collection & Bitty Banners framelits; Glimmer In Color brads (retired). ![]() Stampin Up! is trying out something new! You can now buy single pieces from these select stamp sets: Word Play, Perfectly Penned, and Seasonal Sayings. The offer will be available now through January 2, 2013. Ever wanted just ONE stamp from a set? Now's your chance! Stamps are only available in clear mount, and come packaged in a clear bag. Clear mount blocks are not included, check the flyer for recommended block sizes, links to each of the three sets are provided above. Order today! ![]() Hey, before I forget, there's an awesome new promo out there from Stampin' Up! for the month of October! Get a FREE Festive Paper-Piercing Pack when you purchase the Ornament Keepsakes Set and Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper! There's several combinations, but basically, if you buy the Ornament Keepsakes bundle (that's the stamp set and the framelit set), AND the Candlelight Specialty DSP, you get the Festive Paper Piercing pack for free! What a bargain! Click on the flyer to the left to get all the details - you can also get either wood OR clear-mount stamps with this... I'm really loving all the new piercing templates, yay! ![]() Now, I just KNOW everyone was thinking I was off my game when there were NO pumpkins featured in the Boo Time class projects - PSYCH! I saved them for these adorable Pumpkin Purses, my gift to my ladies for another lovely evening! These are totally CASE'd from Missi Roeber in the September 2012 Stampin' Success demo magazine - and I can't wait to make their little bat and frankie friends, too! And here's the Boo Time class instructions, enjoy! Day of Gratitude stamp set; Petite Purse Bigz L die; Tangerine Tango, Basic Black & Lucky Limeade CS; Stripes embossing folder; Brights collection brads; Organdy ribbon in Lucky Limeade; extra large Oval punch. ![]() I'm also excited to share the flyer for this year's 22nd Annual Holiday Gift Boutique at Mountainview Presbyterian - I can't wait! I had an AWESOME time there last year - even though they put my table right in front of the kitchen counter so that I had to smell those gorgeous cinnamon rolls and delicious soups all weekend! Argh! When you come to shop - come hungry! I hope to see you there - I'll have some great deals on cards and projects, gifts and treats! There's a lot to see! ![]() I have had SO much fun putting together this month's class - the latest shadow box insert just in time for Halloween, and a cute candle wreath (candle not included, sorry!) to fit a pillar candle, so your shadow box doesn't get lonely. Then, I saw the cutest card that reminded me of the wreath, so I had to adapt a version of that to go with! Now you'll have a little gift set ready to go, if you want! Class is scheduled for Thursday, September 27, 630 pm at my house, make sure to RSVP, as usual, so I make sure I have everything prepped for you! Be there or be scared! (Be sure to bring your favorite adhesive and scissors, and if you have one, bring along a hot glue gun for the wreath!) ![]() Ta daaaa! As requested, we are doing our holiday cards early this year, so that we can all MAKE our own cards in plenty of time! Right? Right! These four cards will cover the remaining sets (and other goodies) we liked from the Holiday Mini, and never fear, there will be plenty more Christmas celebrating coming your way! Class is scheduled for Thursday, Aug 16, 6:30 pm, at my house, bring your favorite adhesive, and make sure to RSVP! See you soon! (And save the date for Aug 30, for an awesome Christmas Kiss Countdown bonus class!) ![]() Along with the fabulous new 2012 Mini Catalog (click the catalog picture on the right to view online), there are a few new promotions to celebrate! Want to try didgital scrapbooking? Well, look no further, MDS2 is here! Try the 30 day free trial here! To go with the upgraded software, starting today is the 31 Days of 31% off digital content and print options. See the flyer and get started creating today! And last but not least, this month also has a Spooktacular offer for you: if you join SU! during the month of August, in addition to your Starter Kit (just $99 for $125 in fabulous products), you also receive the Howl-o-Ween project kit, valued at $60! The kit includes this sturdy Printer's Tray, the Toxic Treats stamp set, papers and everything you need to create this boo-tiful project! Contact me today if you're interested in hearing more, and go here for the full flyer! Hi Everyone –
Nope, no card today, BUT, I have added a new subscriber service to my blog, where you can sign yourself up to keep receiving my blog updates! This will allow YOU more control over your subscription. And prevent any spamming of my email list MUCH better! Here’s how it works: Go to my blog page here: http://www.heatherspages.net/handmade-by-heather.html Over on the right, below the picture of me, is an “enter your email address” box. Put in your email, and hit the “subscribe” button. Next, an “Email Subscription Request” box will pop up, and ask you to verify that you’re a live person by entering a verification code. A confirmation email will then be sent to the email address you entered, which you must activate in order for your subscription to continue. That’s all there is to it! I have been maintaining my subscription list manually, and one thing I for sure don’t want, is to send emails to people who don’t really want them anymore. This subscription list will put the control in YOUR hands. All my class announcements and blog updates will continue as usual, you’ll just get them automatically through this service when you subscribe. I will discontinue my manual list in a week or two, so make sure to sign up if you still want to receive my emails! Thanks so much for all your support and love – I look forward to stampin’ with you! Hea XX ![]() Look at the cute new stamp set that's being offered for July's promotion special by Stampin' Up! This set, Reason to Smile, is yours with any purchase of $50 or more for only $5! If you like these projects, SU! also put together a little project sheet - sweet! |
