(Click on the picture for a printable flyer!) ![]() OK, I feel like a total cheater this week, but hey, Fab Friday #29 was TOTALLY screaming "PUMPKIN" to me! Throw in some texture and dimension for My Pumpkin Challenge's #1013, and we are on fire! I'm sure it's the little chevron shapes that are doing it, but this sketch really could have been specifically FOR Paper Pumpkin, it's actually not that different from the suggested project, lol! And yes, I handcut the Cajun Craze layer behind the file folder layer to follow the curves - held my breath the whole time! So, what's in YOUR pumpkin today?? Paper Pumpkin Kit - Wahoo; plus, Old Olive, Whisper White & Cajun Craze CS; Chevron embossing folder. ![]() Stampin' Up! is celebrating its 25th anniversary all year long, but during the week of the actual date (October 25th to be exact) they thought they should pump up the party even more. So what better way than a sale on the very products that started it all: stamps, of course! For one week only (sale ends October 28!) all the stamps on this flyer are 25% off - a great boost for getting those hard to choose from sets! Click on the flyer for the full 3-page list! ![]() For this week's Clean & Simple #262, I ended up taking a pretty literal route, lol! I feel like I never have used the adorable Sweet Buttons embosslit enough, to be honest. I was also in the mood for some little splashes of color, and our Subtles collection was just too perfect! Here in Arizona, the weather is finally cooling off enough that gardeners are plotting their winter plantings, so ironically, Fall is more like Spring here - can you tell I have my own garden on the brain?? A quick tip - I highlighted the details on the embossed buttons by giving them a little splash of Whisper White craft ink with a sponge dauber - just a touch! Lots of Thanks & Button, Button (retired-on envelope) stamp sets; Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Blushing Bride & Soft Sky CS; Subtles & Neutrals button collections; Sweet Buttons embosslit; White Baker's Twine; Corner Rounder Punch. ![]() Just in time for the holidays, we have another new photopolymer stamp set - Endless Wishes! This one sure is a cutie, and priced for a bargain, too - 19 stamps for $13.95 - totally adding this one to my must haves! Click on the picture for the full flyer, or go here to start shopping - there are so many goodies to have! ![]() Don't forget to RSVP for October's "Welcome" Banner Class, Thursday October 24 at 630 pm, or Friday October 25 at 10 am, both chez Heroldt! Save your spot today! I have been waiting for our October class since our Holiday Catty first came out - now's our time to finally play with the Simply Created Build A Banner kit! Woo! I wanted to make it a little Autumn, but still simple enough to hang up year-round if one wanted - and I dressed it up with some exclusive accessories from the Simply Created Thankful Tablescape kit, too! Let me just tell you - that birch-bark paper is SO COOL!
You get lots of personalization choices, as usual, but as much work as I could do for you ahead of time, I have done - to give you the most time to play! I think the banner kit is worth it for the stencils alone... So, our class is scheduled for 630 PM, Thursday, October 24, chez Heroldt, or, for my day-larks, 10 am on Friday October 25, also chez Heroldt! $20 includes all supplies, treats and snacks, but you might want to bring your own hot-glue gun. RSVP today, so I can make sure to have your supplies ready! ![]() What a simple and dramatic sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #106 this week! So many possibilities for all our circular images! I so love the iconic look of the images in our Jewish Celebrations set, I knew I wanted to use one of those, and I felt like the patterns married very well with a few of our Venetian Romance DSP designs as well - so "fresh!" I didn't want to obscure the lovely image as much, so I stamped the sentiment on vellum, and used sticky strip to wrap the ends around the image layers, leaving a little "puffy" in the middle, so the sentiment doesn't get lost against the intricate background. Neat effect! Jewish Celebrations stamp set; Very Vanilla, Island Indigo & Pistachio Pudding CS; Venetian Romance DSP; Generic Vellum; Island Indigo Ink; 2 1/2" Circle Punch; Circles Collection Framelits. ![]() And here's an awesome item to help us get ready for the holidays! Introducing Pop & Place Holiday Gift Tags & Stamps! This is a truly awesome set of items, with your choice of four different options! The first item is a cool new "tag" book - have some really cute tag stamps, but don't have the punches? Well, look no further - the tag book is your solution - 70+ tags in 5 designs, 2 pages of each design, all created from our existing tag & punch shapes, and that coordinate with this year's Season of Style suite. To go with, there's a coordinating photopolymer stamp set of 19 brand new stamps just for the season! You can get just the tag book, for $9.95, or just the stamps set, for $13.95, OR, both for a rockin' bundle of $19.95! OR, get this, there's a sweet little starter set available, too, perfect for giving as your own gift: The Tag Book, Stamps, AND a block and Soft Suede ink spot, so that everything needed to start cranking out the tags is ALL THERE, for $24.95! If you decide to go for either bundle, consider getting extra tag books - after DEC 31, they'll be gone for good! Be sure to click on the picture to check out the full flyer - it's a two pager with all the deets! ![]() For this week's Paper Craft Crew #61, I wanted to brighten things up - so out came the Quatrefancy! So fun to play with the little pieces and bits that make up this sketch - how many accessories can I cram onto a card while still keeping it fairly clean, lol?? Today is the day we find out! Hope you can join us this week - can't wait to see what you come up with! Oh, Hello & Yippee-Skippee stamp sets; Whisper White CS; Daffodil Delight, Strawberry Slush, Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party, & Island Indigo inks; Quatrefancy Specialty DSP; Apothecary Accents & Ovals Collection framelits; Occasions Piercing Pack; Pumpkin Pie 1/4" Grosgrain; Brights & Subtles Buttons; Boutique Details Embellishments. ![]() And here's a quick shout-out for the October "Best Of" set - Best of Christmas! Look at these cuties! I think most of us actually have the originals of most of these, lol... Anyway, same awesome deal - 4 stamps, one brand new and exclusive to this set, for $14.95. AND, another collectable sticker under your belt for that free set! Click on the picture for the full flyer! ![]() Whew - I can just squeeze in one last Pumpkin Challenge - especially if I combine it with Paper Craft Crew's #60! Clearly, I am rebelling against the circles suggested in PCC - but how 'bout some banners instead? Hope this still qualifies, lol... My Pumpkin Challenge #913 - Shapes is still going on for just a few more days, and you have a week for Paper Craft Crew - what can you come up with? My Paper Pumpkin kits - August 2013 Pedal Praise & May 2013 Good Life; plus, Whisper White CS & Calypso Coral ink. ![]() Now, here's a stamp set I've been neglecting lately! I've been wanting to pair this nautical theme with the new World Map stamp, too, so today was the day! I envisioned this as a guy card, but with very subtle hints of sparing color, to go with the lovely open fields of this week's Paper Craft Crew #59 sketch... This week's sketch is amazing - you really could take it anywhere, as you can see from all the lovely samples from our design crew! Make sure you go check it out, and play along! The Open Sea, World Map & Express Yourself stamp sets; Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler & Whisper White CS; Basic Black, Crumb Cake & Night of Navy inks; Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, Regals Candy Dots. I'm also excited to announce that there are two new photopolymer stamp sets available, and they're pretty cool! They're both being called "travel sets," but they could be SO much more! The first set, "Greetings From," has 19 little images and sentiment rings, that just look perfect for scrapping or some awesome movement cards. The other "Map It Out," is one I'm SUPER excited about! It has 64 stamps - woot! The main feature is the awesome US map stamp, with separate ones for Alaska and Hawaii, flag poles and banners, map markers, and a state abbreviation stamp for EVERY state. Oh my stars, the possibilities for this set are over the top, and when you combine it with Greetings From - woo, I could play with these for the rest of the year! Both stamp sets are only $13.95 each - a screamin' deal! Click on the image below for a full size flyer for each!
