![]() Woo, I am SOOOO excited about this flippin' class! I have been playing with the awesome new Label Card and Circle Card thinlet sets for a couple weeks now to get ready, and my brain is still spinning out ideas! I had to hold myself back, so I don't scare you guys off these things. But seriously - they are AWESOME! You are so going to love these! After thinking it over while I played, I decided to make this class be a step-step-step-up class! That is, our first project will be the basic card, a take on the cutie shown on the flyer when the thinlets were first released. The second card is boosted a litle - shows you how to play with lengthening the card stock for an extra panel that gives you room for a super WOW factor I dreamed up for you! The last project is a mini "Flip Album," with panels strung together and decorated, just waiting for you to add your fave pictures and notes. I know I'm famous for NOT being a scrapbooker, but boy-howdy, I am so impressed with myself on this one! I'll have little pics in mine when you come to class, so you can see the possibilities! So, I hope I see you next week in class! Thursday, September 19, 630 am for evening, or Friday, September 20 at 10 am if you prefer day-time! Both classes chez Heroldt as usual, with snacks and treats, of course - RSVP now! See you soon!

![]() That's right folks, time for some homage to the awesome Brenda Quintana once again! How could I resist this amazing Hershey's Kiss Maple Leaf she created for Canada Day this year! LOVE IT! I have been waiting since July to make this cutie! Perfect theme to go with our Reversible Clothespin Fall Wreaths tonight as well (and the Pumpkin Cookies, lol!) Enjoy! I also wanted to take a quick moment to catch you up on September's promos, which start just a couple of days early, since the 1st is over the weekend!

Click on the picture to see the full flyer! ![]() OK, I'm not too proud to admit that this month's class treat was totally from a kit! While at Convention 2013, I was SO lucky to receive one of the Simply Created Real Red Goodie Gear kits - it was just too tempting to not save it to share with you all at our card class! The kit is amazing - 10 little treat bags, 10 little Crumb Cake tags (smaller than the Chalk Talk tag, fyi), 10 little Island Indigo Baker's Twine ties, beaucoup Real Red stripey tape, and 10 die cut little banners ready for stamping, along with the adorable Oh Goodie stamp set. 15 minutes and a bag of kisses later, we were all set! These kits are a screaming sweet deal! Here are tonight's Christmas in August class instructions as well! So, here are our bonus class projects - another reversible clothespin wreath! We'll be doing one for Halloween - "Spooky" and one for Thanksgiving - "Thankful." All materials prepped and ready for you, and as an added bonus, we'll be using some of the Paper Pumpkin background stamps as well - perfect, right?? These are also shown at My Pumpkin Challenge, of course - woo hoo! Make sure to RSVP for Thursday, Aug 29 at 6:30 pm for evening, or Friday, August 30 at 930 am for the day class. Can't wait to see you all! PS. I had to show you his hilarious commercial we got to see at Convention - from the commercial contest! This one was 4th place, but it was MY favorite! Yay, pumpkins! Don't forget - there's still a special going for $10 for the first two months if you subscribe by Aug 31 - contact me with any questions! ![]() Well, it's kinda hard to STOP stamping holiday cards, now, lol! There's all these little pieces left laying around that I didn't get to use for class, so I'll just keep the theme up! When I saw this week's Sunday Stamps #56, I OF COURSE saw little ornaments, and my one regret for the card class planning was that I didn't use the washi tape! Problem solved! And OF COURSE, we will totally be using it on other projects anyway... Ornament Keepsakes & Christmas Message stamp sets; Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake & Whisper White CS; Season of Style Washi Tape; White Baker's Twine; Basic Jewel Rhinestones, Corner Rounder punch. ![]() And now for the latest photopolymer release: Another Thank You! If you're anything like me, my thank you card box can never be too full, and this set is great for MANY quick notes - check out the giant swirly one - so cool! Think I'll be picking this one up myself! 10 stamps for $13.95 is a great deal, too! Click on the picture for the full flyer! ![]() I have had SO MUCH FUN putting together this month's Christmas in August card class! I can't wait for you guys to try these! You'll be smit, I know! You know my goal: hand-made Holiday cards from all of us, lol... I have printed copies to share with you next week in class, too! ![]() I wanted to post a couple pics from tonight's 2013 Convention Open House - I do believe fun was had by one and all! This was a chance for everyone to see all the awesome swaps I brought back (over 200!!), the wonderful Make & Take projects that Stampin' Up! had for us, as well as my class samples from the awesome Convention Connection by Janet Baker and Susan Adams that my upline recommended. What clever, creative and DOABLE projects - can't wait to translate some of these to our own classes! ![]() We also enjoyed an extremely well-dressed dessert by my beloved Our Best Bites, of course, Blueberry-Lemon-Ricotta-Cheesecake Bars - yum yum! Never made anything quite like it - and It rocked! These cute little party swags are from the latest Paper Pumpkin - the Party Pennants kit! Love It! Other activities we enjoyed were digging through convention goody bags for everyone - I loved bringing home the bounty to share with all of us - making one Make-n-Take of our own - my "Six-Sided Swap" card - and getting a crack at my freshly stocked Retired/For Sale box. I almost forgot our good long browse through the new Holiday Mini, too! And the slide shows of the 400 pictures I took! Yikes! So nice to take it easy and just enjoy each others' company - back to the grind next month, though, lol!
